June 22-26, 2026 Intermediate Chess Camp

Intermediate Chess Camp is designed for students with competitive experience in rated tournament chess (Kid's Night or prior Foundations Summer Camp) rated between 500 and 1200.

The Intermediate Chess Camp is taught by Columbia Chess Club coaches, with a class size limited to 12 students.  The goal is to teach more advanced concepts for experienced players in a peer group with similar competitive experience.

12:45 - 1:00 Drop Off

1:00 - 4:00 Instruction / Play

4:00 - 4:15 Pick Up

• Students with tournament experience (Kid's Night tournaments, prior camps, etc.) with a rating between 500 and 1200

• Children between the ages of 5-12

*Cancellations made 14 days or more before the camp start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days may receive a 50% refund or full credit for a future camp, subject to availability. No refunds are issued after the camp begins.
